I don't understand...

My local news recently reported a double homicide in Cape Girardeau, IL. It was a 30 year old woman and her 15 year old son. A day or so later, they reported the woman was pregnant, so it had changed to a triple homicide. Tonight, it was reported they had arrested the man that had shot them and he had been charged with 3 counts of murder.

I'm not in any way trying to take away from the terrible acts that occured because it is horrible that things like that happen at all. However, I do not understand why a fetus that is murdered by a gun is different than a fetus murdered by an abortion.

If this man has been charged with murder, or knowingly taking a LIFE, then why aren't the abortion technicians charged with knowingly taking a LIFE?

Is there an explanation?

Unfortunately it probably come back to a woman's choice. If she chooses to terminate its legal, if it is forced upon her it is murder.

So odd, as I read that, how eloquently those words soft sell into political correctness in the legalization of the terminology, but when the violence of the ugly forced action is brought forth, the cold harsh reality of "murder" prevails.

I have often marveled at the outrage of baby's torn from mother's wombs or tragically murdered in the first months of life, and the world gasps at the taking of innocence, while they clinically support pro choice for the legalization of abortion in the silent casting of a thoughtless vote.

Until it is all seen as a ghastly horror things will not change for it is politically correct to soft sell all forms of abomination anymore and make it seem some how "normal"

Truth of the matter really is that innocence seldom has a choice in how it is presented before the world, from the womb or from the cross. No matter how many votes pass, something will still sound completely lame when those that support them stand before an Almighty God who reigns in complete clarity.

The example you gave does not make sense to me either. Murder implies that the person intended on killing. Both the man who murdered his family and a woman who gets an abortion intend on killing the fetus. If the fetus is counted as part of the woman and not as a separate human being, then it wouldn't make sense to change the murder count from two to three people. So I would conclude from that judgment that the fetus is legally a person...the law doesn't make sense to me.

Thank you for all your responces. It's a very sad and unfortunate matter. Pray for our leaders.

Honestly, I don't believe prayer works that way, otherwise we'd be able to change God's plans. Likewise if we merely needed to mentally send good wishes, or ask God the change the wicked ways of man and the wickedness he has spread upon this world, then degradation would not have spread as far as it has, and it would cancel out man's free will.

Rather what is required is for the wicked to see the wrongs of their ways, then they would have to have the desire and dedication to change through God's Grace...

...sadly, I do not see this happening any time soon, rather I see prophecy being fulfilled.
