This is with regards to "plural christian marriage". I would love to hear you people's take on this. EMAIL: thank you for viewing my profile. I very much like your profile and would love to get in communication with you I think that we both, our lifes and characters don�t really fit into such a small profile so. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have tried all my life to follow the Lord has good as I could and to leave the ways of men behind and have been searching for true happiness and eternal progress. The Lord is great and has blessed me so much! I am married to my wonderful wife Emma and we have two amazing children, a boy 7 years and a girl 3 years. We as a family are looking for another woman to join us in peace, love and harmony as we feel incomplete at the moment. We are looking for the special woman that wants to live with us in christian plural marriage covenanted before the Lord, like it is mentioned in the bible for example. Marriage is holy to us! So here you can not only receive a husband but also a sister and two children. This is a life that has to be revealed to you by God himself, it is kind of a "personal calling". We feel this holy calling of the Lord to live how the prophets of old have lived! We are seaching for the woman God has promised to send to us. So I want to humbly ask you to inquire the Lord if this is a life for you. You are HIS precious daughter so HE will answer your prayers. If this is something you can imagine for your life I would be more than happy to start communication. If this is something you can not imgaine for you than I wish you the best for your future and may you find what you are looking for. I want you to be happy and find joy and your place in life! NRSV1953 View Profile History	plural christian marriage Posted : 26 Sep, 2012 05:01 PM While plural marriage remains illegal in the USA, there are still some who practice this here, most notably FLDS - Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints. (Not to be confused with LDS or "mainline" Mormons.) I also understand that there are some non-FLDS who also practice "plural Christian marriage." Infant mortality, women dying in childbirth, etc. The fact that men did not live nearly as long as women and the disproportionate male to female birthrate. This is not the OT times and Jesus said nothing about harems being ok. And speaking as a guy who has three sisters...why would any man want to listen to more than one woman yell at him because he left the seat up. :ROFL: Post Reply

Mom taught me 2 rules, no wait, 3 rules concerning this matter: Rule #1: Sit down! Rule #2: Hold it down! Rule #3: Flush! :ROFL: Yes, that's right, I've been "house trained", so I know how to use the litter box, or should I say "litter bowl". Anyway, hopefully this brightens someone's day the way it has mine! :) I've laughed until my stomach hurts. That's what I call "good, clean humor". The only exception to this would be if you also went #2 and forgot to wipe! Ahhaahaaahaaahaaaahaaaaa! :ROFL: If someone sees my name in the obituaries in the near future, you'll know why. Apostelle View Profile History	plural christian marriage Posted : 27 Sep, 2012 02:40 PM I remember once, when I was about 12 years old, being awakened in the middle of the night by my youngest sister screaming at the top of her lungs. I dont remember if it was me who left it up or my older brother, but my sister had to go to the bathroom about 2am. She went in, without turning on the light, and sat down...and immediately fell into the bowl. She was about 6 years old at the time. My clearest memory of that night was my mother giving my brother and I mean looks and saying over and over, "Its not funny, you two. Its not funny". You have to understand, my youngest sister was spoiled rotten and never did anything wrong...at least, according to her. :rolleyes: I actually have another brother and two more sisters, but I didnt grow up with them. Maybe he didn't, but did he at least say that it is -not ok-, and why it isn't? If Jesus would have given an example in which he clearly uses a polygamic situation (and let's say polygamy was and is a sin) then wouldn't that be completely against his own believes to even mention about it the way he did? Would it make any sense that He spoke about polygamy neutraly, if polygamy was and is considered a sin in his own eyes? Ten virgins and the bridegroom: 'Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. In my opinion it has completely nothing to do with whether it's a family with one mother or with four mothers. If every person in that family has got -Jesus in their hearts-, they will be blessed, and examplary, no matter if it's monogamy or polygamy. And by the way, I'm happy to see that someones out there are doing well, even though I don't know them. I'm not here to promote polygamy. I just want to live by the truth. And that is only possible when taking the bible just the way it is, not adding or taking anything away from the word of God. So if we can't find at least one thing in the bible about polygamy being a sin to all, then shouldn't we consider that someone might have just added it to his words? Don't we only live in a mongamic world because of tradition (and we also know tradition is not a good thing in the eys of God)? It's all up to us, to understand, and to decide. Post Reply

That is why I am very carefull with Catholic 'priests'. But as you have mentioned about him, could you tell me his name? Once again, brothers and sisters, I am also not saying that Doug has everything right, but he does make some points. And we, Christians, know what is right and what is wrong, what is true and what is false, because we know the word of God, and we are inteligent enough to see when we should listen to someone, or when we shouldn't. After all, we listen to God, and not to someone who doesn't even know God. If you know the word of God, you will recognize evil immediatly. Now just ask yourself, did I really do everything I could to get to know the word of God, or did I just listen to people all my life...? Post Reply
