today i saw what he was saying

he peeled the layers away

once it was blurry

now all i see is clear



he told me to let him hold me

said "do not do a thing"

i let go although hesitant

i trusted in his will



i told him, "but you told me"

"ive seen this all before"

but somehow he made me see things

where i thought there was a wall



we always go in circles

yes

as sun chases the moon

nothing really matters

we'll return to dust soon



enjoy the emotions

the love, the joy, the pain

go outside when you feel bored

and stand in the rain



be still my child

you'll hear the master say

because nothing really matters

we all belong to him

what can we do?

yet all things are possible with him



the stars are yours for the taking

galaxies far and wide

but how can you reach me?

will you soar in a satellite?

don't follow the rules of gravity

i am the one who made The Light



trust me when i tell you

or chose not to believe

all you ever wanted

lies in simplicity



worthless words will go forever

or until the day

you come to life, when he takes your breath away

after he asks you

and you reply and say
