Burdens Lifted

I don't know about you, but in my experiences, I'm usually the one to place burdens upon myself that are truly burdensome. The "burdens" God places on me are light.



I recently placed two separate burdens on myself. I thank God for His working in my heart. They were both things I wanted, not things He was calling me to pursue. When I finally released myself from them, I felt complete peace, joy filled my heart, and I know that I have made the right decision.



Lord, forgive me my foolishness and vain pursuits. I thank You for Your infinite wisdom and Holy Spirit to convict and comfort. Praise be to You in Jesus' holy name. Amen!
