A Prayer Poem

why you have to take

the cross that i make

and then suffer for my sake..



why you still forgive me

and in darkness set me free

even in your law i disagree

then eat the apple in the tree...



i spit in your face

i make you disgrace

i treat you like waste

instead to bow in you to praise...



i sin against your will

that cause your blood to spill

but why you love me still

and hold me tight to heal....
