I don't know where or how we got the idea, but at some point in our relationship my ex-boyfriend and I thought it would be incredibly romantic to dance in the rain.

One night he took me to several surprise places, with clues given between each. Finally we ended up back at his house and we went around to his backyard and in the door to the shop there was a stereo playing. It had just started to rain so he asked me to dance. It suddenly dawned on me that he had remembered our conversation and while we were awkwardly (but preciously) figuring out how to dance properly, I asked him, "So, what were you going to do if it didn't start raining tonight?" He smiled and pointed upstairs to the top of the porch where there was a sprinkler and a hose waiting.

I felt secure in knowing two things - that he really paid attention to our conversations and that he was so capable of thinking ahead and preparing for things. When it comes to situations more serious than our little date, I think it's important to a lot of women, even those who don't want to admit that they want to be protected - knowing that a man is paying attention and is going to have a back-up plan.

What a lovely story! It is so nice to hold memories of precious times. I like you and each of us have mine tucked away in my heart where they will remain forever! God Bless and keep you!

Since I am a hopeless romantic, I loved this story. Being spontaneous and also attentive is a whole lot more attractive than a dozen of roses.

my ex an i loved to swing dance. i picked it up at college and when she came we started going together. but while we were home we always seemed to start dancing in the driveway before one or the other of us had to leave. often it would be raining, but we wouldn't care. it was fun and kinda romantic.

yes, that was romantic. Romance to me though would be paying attention to my likkes and dislikes. I have never danced in the rain, but I am sure that it was an experience you'll never forget.

Godbless,
