Kind of a long story, but it�s kind of a cute one and I will be interested in seeing any posts it might generate. In my business I get referrals from real estate & mortgage brokers. I recently had a lady an unmarried lady referred to me as a client. Had never met her in person, but when she sent me a copy of her drivers license (needed in my work for her) I saw that she was attractive and when I spoke to her on the phone � she had a really nice personality. On one of my first phone calls to her I let her know that I thought she was nice looking and asked if she was married. She told me that she was not but that she had just gotten out of a bad relationship and because of that she was not looking . But everytime I called her I could hear a lot of warmth in her voice towards me so I decided to take a risk and ask her out despite what she had told me. When I asked her out, to my surprise she said �yes� very enthusiastically and without any hesitation. I told her I would call her the next week to set that up but put it off for a couple of weeks because when I called I could tell she was getting cold feet. When I asked her out I thought it best to put it under the premise of doing her credit repair work � so as to take a little of the pressure off of the situation and told her I would have some dinner (a bite to eat prepared). But when I was supposed to call her to set it up she would not answer her phone � which really did not surprise me. But last yesterday afternoon she called me and indicated she wanted to ask me some questions about the work I was doing for her, although I had already answered them on the phone (lol). So she shows up at my apartment and I share Romans 10:9 with her to see if she was born again. (Coincidentally it was also October 9th) She explained that she was. Then I kind of jokingly told her that I was looking for a wife if she might be interested. She kind of laughed a little and said she had only been divorced a few months and it was a bad relationship so she wasn�t ready to think about anything like that right now. As I went over some paperwork with her she got close. I could tell by her body language and facial expression that she wanted me to make a pass at her; but stupid me � because of what she had said a few minutes earlier � I chickened out. But as I walked her to her car we stopped to talk for a moment and I asked if she minded if I gave her a hug. She said �Ok, I guess that would be alright.� As I opened my arms wide to give her a hug and moved in close I could see by her facial expression that she wanted that hug very badly � so I also gave her a kiss on the neck along with the hug. I could tell that the experience kind of made her day and of course it worked for me too. :glow: Post Reply

Shes a good lady, but not at all sure she's the one. And of course, all else being equal, wouldn't we all prefer a lady who will just fall into our arms without any coaching or work. The best fit is usually the one that wants us most - as long as we love her that way also. On the otherhand, I'm not ruling her out at all either. You know women - may be next time, if there is one, she will respond by smothering me with kisses. Never can tell when that wall of a woman's caution will break - if she's a good one it doesn't take long with us honest guys. Post Reply
