Lol~~funny email address~

This is not the only place that gets these desperados~~I write for eHow and internet paid writing site and they hit us all the time on there, too! After a while you can spot them like a bad watermelon in the bin at the grocery store~~

Ah well, pray for them, they have their problems, too. :waving:

Well, good that you can spot them.

I posted something like this and got no end of flames telling me how wrong I was.

Broken English and all.

Go figure.

The scammers have been hitting a friend of mine pretty hard. He's about the most gullible guy I've known and wont take good advice. He spent over 220 on a "translation service," so he could talk with a "woman," in Russia.

Since then, he's just been communicating back and forth with people from Africa, middle east and former Soviet Bloc countries. 100% of them have gone about 4 or 5 Emails before coming up with some form of sob story. Either their internet is about to get shut down and he needs to pay for it so they can talk with him or their house is about to be torn down if they cant pay a tax or etc, etc, etc...

Just as many scammers in the USA, with US addresses unfortunately.

Really hate to say it, but internet relationships are so fickle, and fizzle out so quickly, so I am just trying to make really good friends and let God be God, cuz if I just work on building good and healthy relationships, I know I can trust Him to do the rest.

Even locally it seems I always get the loony, scary, or flat out weird (see worst date ever thread!), but I must say, its hard for scammers to operate locally

Got a ridiculous email last week on my private email, some lottery bank of Nigeria deal "For real, this is not scam this is jenuine real deal!" I genuinely didn't believe them, I suppose it could be my loss, but I doubt it!! lol
