Has God told you that he/she is the one?

I thought my story could help someone here. I am a guy and I have a story to share. God may have lied to me though it could be because I was so attached to situations. I want to go around the world and spread the gospel but I want a woman to be by my side when doing it. I believe we must go in pairs and a husband and wife is the perfect team. I had this girl I had envisioned in mind for many years with a certain look to her. So all other girls who dont fit this image were not interesting to me. The look does sort of look like my mom same hair color and eyes as her. And this girl is a lot like my mom and a lot like me too. And so all of a sudden I woke up in the middle of the night with an urge to write her a love letter. I didnt know if she would receive it because she is quite popular online. So I had to go all out with it and tell her about how great a husband I could be for her. Then I decided this letter was too forward and toned it down. I found out some more about her in one of her other videos and at first I thought oh wow, no way, she sounds like an atheist! I wasnt sure exactly if she was but these other things she said made me realize it was actually quite a special story, one that I fell in love with especially because I spent the next 16 hours making a video for her to introduce myself to her. Then I wrote a letter and mailed it also, and a video of my mom saying hi to her. I had to wait a long time for the letter to arrive. I was on her website and waiting for the right time to send my comment saying I sent her the letter and then I kept checking every two minutes and then I heard God say Its time so I said no way. And then I clicked refresh on her page and it was time! I was the first person to comment. She saw it and didnt write back right away. I was initially upset and I went to sleep and then I prayed more to God about it and then God did something funny. I dont like idling trucks so God put an idling truck outside my window and then when I usually would get out of bed hearing that I did not. Then the truck left and immediately my mp3 player battery died. That got me thinking oh wow, thats some synchronicity there. And then I heard God say I have her waiting for you. So I got up not believing it was God but my own foolish mind and then I checked my messages and saw she wrote me saying thank you and was waiting for it. And then so began the time to wait. I sent her an email also with an mp3 of me reading it too. So thats 3 videos a letter, an email and mp3 file. That got her attention for sure. She finally wrote me an email back and said how amazing it was and thanked me for it but she didnt make me a video back. She makes videos on YouTube for peoples enjoyment and relaxation. So I thought maybe God was then saying I should write her back and this time be more bold about what I wanted from her because I was wishy washy and didnt make it clear enough. Well I do that and I thought God told me that she would be mine and I should just wait. And then I got my answer she didnt feel the same way. You know when you see someone and get an instinct like this must be the right person. She didnt feel that too. She doesnt want a long distance relationship either. So it reminds me of a time I had a couple real connections with women in the past and they DID feel it too, but they were either too young for me or in relationships and I knew that it was a sin to be a homewrecker! So there you have it, this is what guys suffer from too.

Hi,

I have had this experience. I felt after reading your post that you needed someone to acknowledge your story. I do not believe that GOD lied to you. I believe we all hear what we want to hear. I also know form experience that as humans we are given a freedom of choice. We can choose to follow GOD'S plan or not. HE might have a shown her to you but if she didn't choose you that should be okay. Give it to GOD. Let HIM handle it.

As far as your calling, it is not necessary for a person to go out on the mission field with their spouse already in place. Sometimes if we begin the journey toward our calling and place, GOD sends someone to help us along our race. It is in the stepping out that we open doors (that were already unlocked but just waiting for us to do our part and step out in it.

I would encourage you to not wait any longer to move out into your calling but begin now to make preparations to move forward in your calling and do all you can do to fulfill it and let GOD send the woman that could be the best for you along your path. HE can send someone even better.
