Daunting Task

I am relatively new to online dating. I dated for a few months earlier this year for the first time on a few different sites. After a break of 6 months I am back to online dating and have seen some of the same faces I saw 6 months ago. I did have a good experience and dated a really nice guy about 5 times, but we were not a match for each other. It's a bit disillusioning when people don't reply back and to see the same people online who haven't found a match yet. It is so hard to really know who to approach when there is such little information about people. Guess you just have to take chances and ask more. Does any one else find this a daunting task? If not for a good first experience I really don't know if I could be bothered, except for there being no elligible men my age at my Church or in my social circle. What have others experienced?

If any guy finds this a daunting task he may as well delete his profile

Yes you just have to take chances.

Six months is not a long time for online dating.

Some of those still on may have found mates but still building their relationships and getting to know each other more.
