Yes, I do believe that. I also believe that second chances are possible with our merciful Lord. To put it another way, I don't believe that out of 6 billion people on the planet, only one is right for you, but that God sends people into your life that are right for you, and crucially, whom you're right for too. I don't have any scriptures to support that viewpoint so must stress it is only an opinion, however I also think, in your case, God's allowed these events to highlight something in your own life that needs dealing with before you're ready to go to the next stage.

Please do seek guidance through personal prayer and from mature and wise Christians you respect as I wouldn't want my opinion to be the catalyst for your decisions.

We meet wonderful people daily, people that we appreciate & desire to pesue something personl with THOUGH that doesn't always mean they're suitable partners for us. I'm not very sure about God bringing people to us but i'm certainly sure that God respects our choices hense He wishes that all men may be saved & brought to life, he stil respects mens choices if one doesn't want to be saved, instead He tells us of the outcome of our choices.

Likewise when chosing a partner, its your call to make. You have to make that final decision. God will only guide & warn you during your seach (if ofcause you've asked for He's help.) This begins with you before you can even bring forth the matter to God (by so saying I don't mean that God is the second or last option.)

What are your values & requirements of a life time partner? You first have to master questions of that sort. Why do you wanna be in a relationship/marriage? What do you have to offer to the next part? What's at risk ? Is it even worth the effort of you taking that risk? The list goes on & on.... Nonetheless God can then help you when you know what you're seaching for.

Rather ask Him for signs. I'm reminded of a passage in the bible when Abraham's servant was sent to find a wife for Issac. He had a heart to heart prayer to God, he said "God since I won't know who the suitable partner is for Isaac, please confirm with this sign that she's the one, the lady whose gonna give my Camel/Donkey water to drink after i've asked her to give me water so I can drink, she's the one." Rebekah didn't know anything about this prayer, when she was asked for water by the servant, she gave him & willingly gave to he's animal(s) too without being asked.

Please pray that God may give you signs, let no one else know about your agreement with God. So its not faked when it takes place. Ezekiel asked for a conformation sign when God's servant was sent to tell him that he's years were extended to 15more years.

Great wishes on your seach, may you find exactly what you're seaching for & nothing less!!

Yes, I do believe God can send us someone. There is Biblical precedence for this, in Genesis 24, the story of Isaac and Rebekkah.

Abraham send his servent to his homeland to find a wife for his son Isaac, and the servent prayed for God to choose the appropriate woman. The servent gave specific conditions that would clue him to which woman God had chosen, and those conditions came true.

Read Genesis 24, and see how a good woman was chosen for Isaac.

That should give you an idea of how to pray for God's choosing a mate for you. Remember to always test every man's character against Biblical definitions of a good husband, so you will know he's the right one.

And, see that you do your best to emulate the 'Noble Wife' described in Proverbs 31.

Just remember that God knew every day of our lives even before we were born, so He is the best one to choose a mate for us.

God bless you, sister!
