From a man whose photo & profile didn’t peak my interest. And it made me realise that some men think that women of a certain age are desperate & they have to make zero effort to get the attention of a woman. How off putting, I don’t send my picture out to random men who request it. I only ever send my picture to men I’m interested in getting to know in response to a well thought out message…:-) Post Reply

In other words a man has to be good enough for you before he can see who he messaged. You like most modern women think you deserve a certain unrealistic caliber of man without putting forth any real effort to achieve it. As I said in a previous post above. The men you want to attract aren't going to message you without seeing you first. But you don't seem to get that and the reason for it is you still get messages from a lot of men anyway. But these men aren't what you are looking for so you reject them. WHICH proves my point. Post Reply

Nor do I trust photos. Who is to say whether a photo is of the person that is posting or not. Moreover, how recent is the photo. Some post photos of their former glory. Personally, whatever you post is a giveaway. FREE INFO. People collect what we write and what we post and collect our photos too which we freely give. Nothing is private on the internet. There are always unseen entities collecting info. So, better to wear sunglasses and a hat and strive for incognito. But true, our odds may improve when we post photos. Some are here just to pass the time and welcome conversation. Once in a while, one enjoys a good conversation. I write both people who post photos as well as some that do not post photos, but I have yet to meet anyone I write on this site. But ones that post photos of themselves may be more serious in their efforts to find someone. It is a form of transparency. Hey this is what I look like. I prefer full body photos to show the truest picture. Time saver photographs. Post Reply

But no one is requiring you to write a person you do not want to write or to send a photo to someone that you do not want to send a photo. Now we are very limited in how many we can write with our daily limits as non-paying members. Why waste our limit on people we do not want to write? Why upgrade to write people we don't want to write? Just don't write those you don't want to write. Save your words for people you want to write. Post Reply
