'March 13-15 is our Men's Weekend and I am so excited with what the team has been planning and to see how God will use it to transform your life. This year's theme is Expedition. Our lives are an expedition. Your marriage is an expedition. Fatherhood is an expedition. We hope to take you on an expedition this weekend, taking you to a place where you are better equipped to become the man God has designed you to be.' What an original topic to cover, I see, gotta focus on the vast majority to get all that money. Us singles are nothing but economic sink hole unlike the families of the church. View Profile History	Register For The Men's Weekend! Posted : 15 Mar, 2020 04:25 PM Seems to me "singles groups" focus on the young say 18-30. Anyone older than that? All they want is your money. You worship, you hear the Word, her the sermon and then say hi to a few people and go back to your single life. Most churches do not connect with middle aged singles AT ALL! I know ours doesn't and by 35 40 men haven't figured out other ways of entertaining themselves rather than subjecting to more rejection and ridicule by "Christian" feminists. Post Reply

The Church doesn't want to be sued when one of them molests a kid. Too many consider that a "middle aged never married" must be gay or perverted. Just never found a life's partner, but I found women hate my guts. Never touched a kid as a sacristan or an usher and had no desire to, but they put us in one big box because the 1 disgraces the 999 just trying to do God's work. Post Reply

I also tend to dislike the segregation of various groups inside the Body of Christ. The church should be one family where people from ALL walks of life can meet each other... learn and have fellowship.. how diverse would that be? Personally I am not really after singles' events, if they are only about 'hooking up' OR trying to teach me to be 'content' What I would love to see, is churches treating us singles as individuals who are equally children of God, with our own strengths and weaknesses and talents to offer. If people want to marry churches should not discourage that.. And if people want to find like minded people for friendships, that should be encouraged too. There should be freedom to seek God and His plans for each of us. Post Reply

Posted : 23 Mar, 2020 12:50 PM Look NG, So called "churches" are too busy with regular folk in the "click" of the marriage clan that they don't have time for single people that are happier than they! Yeah they try to comfort the divorced ones because they were recently in the nest! BUT I have seen them turn on them if the stay single too long! Perhaps they are just jealous that we are our own independent person OR maybe they think we are stalking their spouses??? As singles we have no "talents to offer" because we are under developed, that we are not "yoked" in knowledge like the married folk are. Post Reply

Sadly often we in fact are considered as 'underdeveloped' or 'insufficient'. While, divorced folks get plenty of support and encouragement in churches and the society in general.. they are seen as 'adult' and 'mature'.. especially if they have children, to prove they have been productive citizens. Somehow, those achievements are seen as valid and valuable contributions. It really is sad.. Post Reply
