I like some of C.S. Lewis’ fiction.

For a scholar, his theology is grievously lamentable, but his fictional creativity remains classic.

Another great credit for C.S. Lewis might go to his superb approach to Christian apologetics and to his exquisite prosecution of logic.

You got more than you asked for but that’s my take😅

I haven't enjoyed all of his fiction equally, but he did use great imagination from fantasy worlds to other planets. But I find The Screwtape Letters to be particularly good, enough to have me re-reading it.

So you like his apologetics but not his theology, hmm... do you have a favorite among his nonfiction books?

You’re right about the Scewtape Letters, definitely worth a 2nd read.

As for a favorite nonfiction, that’s another call I’m not prepared to make, at least not yet.

The Chronicles of Narnia. I remembered from when I was a child. Now I own the book.

Hi Ortnet! Yes, Chronicles of Narnia is a great series. I read the first one or two to my children, and then they each finished the series on their own. Now, years later, I'm reading through them myself. :-)
