What is the difference between Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0...

I guess that different people will focus on different things. However if I am being asked to list the main difference that I have been focusing on. In my mind in the early days of the internet...human - computer 'interface' was extremly limited. (i.e. websites were like community bulletin boards that were updated once a day or maby once an hour.)

The world is currently using web 2.0. and according to me 'the upgrade' is that instead of waiting on a stranger to update the webpage say once a day, in web 2.0 some websites were updated in real time. So in web 1.0 people were forced to talk to another person like they were writting a letter/email to someone. In web 2.0 a person went from the equlivant of mailing someone a letter to being able to hand someone a note (and the other person can imeatly pass me a note back)

But the current system of note passing is not god enough for some people. In web 3.0 the designers want to provide more realistic feed back. So instead of me writting an electronic letter and the feedback being like watching a black and white t.v., in web 3.0 talking to someone will be like sitting right next to the other person.

Now why should people pay attention to what is going on. Well a designer of web 3.0 is calling what they are doing 'pergamon'

The "Alarm Bell" is the fact that pergamum is identified as e 'the throne of satan"
