Christianity has been at the centre of so many incredible world changing events throughout the centuries. The rise of Orthodox Christianity in Byzantium, the Crusades in the holy land and northern Europe. The birth of the Holy Roman empire under Charlemagne, the Protestant Reformation, 30 years War in Europe and the end of Viking raids/invasions across Europe. These are just a few examples of why a forum for the discussion of historical topics should be set up. Post Reply

It’s fascinating to see how the various denominations were formed and why. How the cannon of scripture was decided. All that history gets me excited!! Post Reply
