I would actually suggest LESS forums - making a forum for every specific topic under the sun leads to an overwhelming amount of forums, without much conversation in any of them.
For example, Ask a Guy/Girl could easily be combined into a place for both genders to ask questions of the other. Since both forums are frequented by guys and girls, and since few messages are specifically directed or answered like this, one forum could serve this purpose. The same for "advice on love and dating" and "broken hearts." People with broken hearts most often seek advice, and a whole forum for how one has been wronged by one's partner seems extreme. Combining these two would create that same space with a more positive spin.
"Christian ethics" or values is also unnecessary, because on a Christian site, it's implicit, and this is a very narrow category to base an entire forum on. TV and music could be combined into a forum for discussion of pop culture/media in general. I just don't see that the boards have enough traffic to support this many specialized forums. Larger categories that encourage more interaction would be more useful.
I don't have the list in front of me, but I'm sure there are others that could be combined.
