Hi. What about making a "last active" function on this site? Unless the person you're looking into (profile) isn't active "today" or is "online" for the moment, there's no way of finding out if the person is active at all, say for the last year. I guess that many of us would like to avoid spending time and resources on profiles which are 2-3 years old and inactive. Is it possible to set up a function like that? (which tells about the last login date for the user in question).

I would guess that this is something most of us here would LOVE to see in place. So far, though, I haven't seen any of the suggestions actually implemented. I think they put this topic here so that we wouldn't be bombarding the Admins with suggestion! There was one time when I actually messaged the Admins with a suggestion, and I did receive a reply...with lots of reasons for WHY they couldn't/wouldn't make the change I wanted.

I don't think the owners of this site are programers. They simply have bought a "dating site" software package, and they don't have the abilities to upgrade it. It's not that they don't care, they just don't have the money to do it.

Such a function could and should be a part of any dating site, the lack of it is one of the main reasons I don't visit this site often. Searching through a few hundred profiles to fine a hand full of people who were online within the day is time consuming and frustrating.

This function should be relatively easy to impliment. It basically just requires the site to order searches based on the last log on time/day.

(FYI: I have taken classes in programming, one in SQL.)

I wonder if anyone has ever suggested the Admin to do something about this?
