Admin	When Christianity is Not Enough Posted : 19 May, 2011 01:42 PM When Jesus Christ delivered or forgave someone he often said go and sin no more. Many of todays Americas philosophy is built up on Christianity whether they like it or not. But people have taken integrity and morality and made it a set of standards built on over achievement. People are not adequate anymore unless they are super human beings with multiple accomplishments. I have been pushed to be just that as well. A person is no longer considered adequate unless they have a string of successes that they can converse about. Just simply being forgiven or obtaining grace of God is not considered the end of Christianity but rather only the beginning of it. In a successful America the number of accomplishments is often compared. In Antique car world the number of restored cars is compared to others with fewer restored cars. It's irritating but the truth is that this kind of competitive comparison is constantly going on. The same goes on with women and dating. People are attracted to persons of the opposite sex that have the most feathers in their caps. The most accomplishments. I keep trying to rebel from this and there is not enough room on this profile to put it all but I recognize the trend. Post Reply

It is the beginning! I don't believe in boasting! because the Lords work is done through us, we are conduits. But because the Lord does work through us being born again is only the beginning, taking what you have and doing the Lords will is the rest.
