A friend of mind that use to preach overseas crudes with me wrote this song,, His name is Bud Chambers,,,I think he's dead now, so this is in tribute to him. He wrote over 6000 songs and had many #1 hits in america,, most famous I can rember was "One more river to cross"and "I was born to serve the lord",,, You would have to be in the church back in the 70" ,,, hope you enjoy the humor.:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

When I was just,,,, a little boy,,,, I was very young.
I use to do,,,, some awful thing's,,,, all in the name of fun.
I'd break up all my crayons,,,, I'd write upon the wall.
What was the reason for such wickedness,,,,
I was the product of Adams fall.
But then one day,,,, I went to church,,,, Out on the edge of town.
The singing was fast,,,, the preaching was loud,,,, women shouting their hair down.
My eyes we're big as saucer's,,,, from what I did hear and see.

I know both of those songs and they're great. Wouldn't hurt for some of us to really get the "hell" scared out of us again...Loved this...Very nice tribute to a friend.
I'll title mine HEAVEN. The two you posted written by Bud Chambers are very good ! He sounds like the kind of man who could really teach us young people a Lot; the kind of man I'd love to be around. I'm glad I'll get to meet him in Heaven.

yes he is very funny to be around,,, he had a very hard life,, he and his wife use to travel with A.A.Allen back in the 60's. I met him in the 80's,,, we use to go overseas together and preached in new york together at the same church's..
I might put a coulple more of his on her tomorrow i dont have time right now,,, i have to sort thrpough them.. some are very openned minded and peoiple might nnot be able to handle them,,,, to funny... bruce.
