This is regarding: General Question

Message: Is it ok for people who are in a relationship to stay on the website and participate in the forums? If so, would it be possible to add an option to our profiles to indicate that we're no longer single?

Thanks!

:stop:Admin Response:

Hello Mark,

CDFF is for both relationship and fellowship, so it is ok for committed members to participate and stay in touch with friends. We appreciate your suggestion and will consider implementing it as we continue improving the CDFF website. In the meantime, members generally write on their profiles that they are commited, in the About Me section.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

God bless,

CDFF

I have to say that I realise I have come to respect you guys so much here. Djk255, Jude, Mark and sissygirl.

It is good to see God raising up leaders in your part of the world and bringing the gospel as your lives shine for His grace, mercy, love and truth.

Your brother and fellow bondsman in Christ,

Michael

Perhaps you should look up the word obsession. I think the fact that even though I've told you I prefer to not get your, um.. comments to me you still respond in one way or another and usually immediately after I've posted something, no matter what the topic.. that's obsessive, to say the least. You've also responded to me in one single forum post, over and over again.,, that'd be obsessive. I won't waste my time with the adjectives, please note, the last place I'd want to be your mind and I really couldn't care less about your relationship with your "lady".

Actually, I look into the posts for the day and I decide to respond to whatever the daily chat is about.

Whatever active posts, do you understand this concept?

ChristianArtsy, honestly, there was nothing directed at you because after your initial complaint, you didn't drive it into the ground and drag everyone into an insult/accusation festival. I consider your position to be reasonable, if you don't want to hear from LTM, then you're free to note the request in any forum posting, you're free to ignore him completely, etc. There was no reason for anyone to direct any "venom" toward you. Sandman, however, went a bit far, even after the administrator stepped in and made the site's stance known. I fail to see any mistreatment of the man though, I certainly didn't harbor anything against him except frustration, and I feel like that was justified. The lengths he was going to were simply ridiculous. Also, LTM posts multiple comments on many threads, there's record of it in his forum history, it's not "obsession" directed toward you from what I can see. If you don't like what he says, then you're free to disagree and make your feelings/opinions public, but I think the slander should be over with, and I think the admin decision toward Sandman should speak for itself. Members in a relationship are tolerated on the site, certain behavior is not.
