Please remember that all materials should be original or credit given to the author. No material can be copied without the express permission of the author or you will be breaking one of the 10 Commandments! mmm...mmm..You might need to read up and figure out which one it is....
Ok...lets have some fun...and enjoyment!
THE MENTOR
I see as you are
Not with eyes of prejudice or fault
But with anticipation of your every move...
Your voice is like a melody waiting to be sung
I hang onto every note with envy
Contemplating the next harmonious passage...
Consumed by the thing I fear most
I relish in the fragrance of courage and strength
Emmanating from you and am totally captivated...
Deep within me lies the essence of your soul
That I might someday walk as you walk now
Never measuring another by wealth but rather by
character portrayed...
Love does not describe what you mean to me
My Teacher, Guide, and Friend
May I someday be the reflection of this Priceless Encounter!
( this poem was written about a very special teacher who helped me to recognize my potential...years ago)
It's Friday! Yeah !!!!!:applause: Coffee's on and I really need it this morning. I surely didn't want to drag myself out of bed this morning!!!! Running late so this will have to be
short....(like me)!:excited:

I didn't want to get up
The covers felt so good...
I know I have a lot to do
Need to praise Him like I should.
I love You Lord the morning
Thank you for this day...
Keep my special friends all safe
Throughout this blessed day...
Make your face to shine on them
In everything they do...
And let them know you're watching out
Because you love them, too....!!!:peace:

Keep on trucking in the Lord, today! He'll help you carry your load!
Goodnight, y'all....I'm still at work and it's almost 11p...Been a very long day so my poety is on stand-by...Hey why don't I ever hear from you...This is not a one man band....(girl)...
I'll leave you with this little proverbial saying...(not mine, saw it on a card and liked it...no name on it)
CONVICTION
Be certain your feet are planted in the right place
Before you decide to stand firm....!!!!
May God bless you abundantly tonight and may you tuck me in tonight....I still have to drive home!:zzzz:
Hey y'all...Just wanted to tuck you in one last time...
Always know that you have an advocate with the Father and that He hears you even when you can't hear yourself.
I have loved this forum and you all have helped me so much but I work two jobs, go to school, as well as church activities.
Now it's time for you to step up to the plate with the poetry and be blessed. You will find that by giving yourself to others God will give back to you in ways that money cannot buy. It's really not about me or you but, rather, HIM !

Time tonight to say goodbye
To all my awesome friends...
And wish for you the best of things
That this ol' heart can send...
Binks and I have really loved
The joy of night and morn...
A simple little fellowship
A special time was born...
And now I pass the torch to you
But I'll be stopping by...
Occasionally a little peek
I'll miss you, I can't lie................................:purpleangel:

Time to turn the lights off...give us a big hug and know that
God's arms can handle anything...Just let Him hold you close.
Everybody is a poet. For what is poetry/prose, except the attempt to express feeling and emotions that someone else can 'feel' and understand as if they were behind your eyes.
It is not about mechanics of words or wisdom. It's all about feelings. Some of the best 'poetry' I've ever seen was: A Salutation given to a total stranger and the exhiliration of empty sullen eyes, low on faith, suddenly turning into a smile.
