I see as you are
Not with eyes of prejudice or fault
But with anticipation of your every move...
Your voice is like a melody waiting to be sung
I hang onto every note with envy
Contemplating the next harmonious passage...
Consumed by the thing I fear most
I relish in the fragrance of courage and strength
Emmanating from you and am totally captivated...

Good evening, y'all. Hope your weekend went well. Been a little rainy out there but awfully good for the flowers!
Church was awesome this morning and God held the door open for me today. (Man...that was nice!) He certainly is a gentleman but knows how to stir things up, if you know what I mean!:applause:

RAIN
The rain may come and go in life
That's really quite ok...
We need a little now and then
To help us on our way...
Without it we at first stand tall
Appearances are deceiving...
To look, we seem to be just fine
To everyone believing...
But deep inside we feel the pull
Of standing not so tall...
Dry and withered we've become
In fear, about to fall...
Then just in time we feel a drop
Of God's unchanging love...
Familirar with His presence
As He sends it from above...
So open up your heart today
And let the rain come in...
To cleanse away the very thing
That keeps you lost from HIm...

Good morning, y'all. It's a biscuits and gravey morning....A little sausage...a pinch of flour...a tad of salt and pepper, a bunch of milk, (biscuits in the oven), good music going and a lot of stirring going on...mmm....Oh Wait!!! Forgot the coffee. Now, that's better...Just pull up a chair and talk to me while I keep it moving...So nice that you could join me...You know there's plenty of time for you to talk, too!

Seems we work too much these days

Have to start my day...

I missed our conversation

God has given us today
To start afresh, anew...
A workday that is filled with Him
So we don't need to stew...
About the things in this old life
That seem to keep us bothered...
We just need to hold to Him

Do you ever get the feeling that you're alone???? mmm....mmm...everyone must still be on vacation....I see the ghosty numbers and know there are peepers....Surley one of you can write....reminds me of a song..."talkin to myself and feeling low...sometimes I think I'll quit...nothing ever seems to fit (need to lay off the pineapple cake)...rainy days and Mondays always get me down.....OK...OK...time for the Son to come out...
Well, I'll share a tid bit with you...My boss gave me a tape to listen to and I'm not finished yet so I'll just give you a snippin of it...It' a sermon from a minister called Todd Hall...anyway he is preaching on beiing a rocket...attributes of a rocket...ie...pointing straight up, makes a lot of noise, very firey, changes the higher it goes, ready to discover new things, throws off things that would hinder it from it's destination, can only elevate if the atmosphere is right, etc...
Sounding good...I just need to finish listening to it...I just may overcome my fear (concern)of heights to be a rocket! How about you?:yay:

Hey, y'all...time to cut the lights down low and start thanking him for bringing you through another day. Each one is a blessing, you know! If you are sad or a little lonely tonight, just know that Jesus has been there, too. How sad He must have felt in the garden that night. He does feel what you feel. Don't forget, the human side of him was single, too. That's why He understands you so well.
May God sing you a love song and hold your hand tonight until you fall asleep. Feel safe and warm tonight, all...Cause God has truely got you in the palm of his hand!
Good evening, y'all...Hope you had a blessed day today. God truely is on the throne and all is well. My boss was talking about the Pearl of Great Price today. You know, the story is in Matthew. Anyway, it is likened to the kingdom of heaven, and tells about a man who sold all he had to purchase the land on which it was resting...mmm.mmm...
Well, let's see, an oyster is suppose to be a scavenger..(Now how could that taste sooo good?!) Anyway,it seems that when something irritating gets inside the oyster (like sand) the lining of the inside of the oyster shell attaches itself to the grain of sand and gradually coveres it until it's totally enclosed within the oysters layer (approx. 7yrs.)which then becomes a pearl. You know they say that most gems reflect light (like a diamond) but a pearl absorbs light as well as reflects it..mmm...good thought.
I would like to have the kingdom of heaven reflected and absorbed within so that I may share this wonderful treasure with others. How about you....?
Time to cut the lights off, say your prayers and dream of all the pearls Jesus gives us everyday just because He can!
