Your voice is like a melody waiting to be sung I hang onto every note with envy Contemplating the next harmonious passage... Consumed by the thing I fear most I relish in the fragrance of courage and strength Emmanating from you and am totally captivated... Deep within me lies the essence of your soul That I might someday walk as you walk now Never measuring another by wealth but rather by character portrayed... Love does not describe what you mean to me My Teacher, Guide, and Friend May I someday be the reflection of this Priceless Encounter! My day has been filled to the top and overflowing...I wish I could say it was all blessings but that would be a lie and so I'll be truthful... mmm....mmm...what is that scripture..."all liars shall have their part....." :devil: It has been a good day but just very busy...How about yours? _________________________________________________ I left on time to get to work But I was so delayed... I even drove the speed limit and really did behave. The traffic seemed to crowd on me And I was running late...(those early am poems!) I wondered if ol' Binks was safe Man, did I close that gate!? My coffee is still sitting On the counter, really cold... The clothes are in the basket That I really need to fold. My favorite show is over Cause I wanted to see you... I know the trash needs taking out But what's a girl to do?.... So I just asked my Jesus 'bout important things just now And he just said talk to your friends Cause they might need you, now!!! I am still a little wound up but I know that 5 minutes after my head hits that pillow I wil be OUT! :zzzz: May you dream of baseball games that are won, all bills paid off, all sickness healed, all jobs restored, all conflicts resolved and trust regained...It's funny how God speaks throuogh dreams.....mmm.....mmm...:peace: God Bless...Love you bunches and bunches...! Morning y'all....coffee time...don't forget to turn your radio on (wonder if Bud has a word about that! lol...probably! lol) You might hear a song from God to help you through the day...Hey...rejoice...its Labor Day Weekend....! _________________________________________________ I am so very happy A three day weekend, too... Not doing nothing special Except for seeing you... The clothes are finally folded But in the basket still... The coffee's really very hot With cream and sugar, till.... I decide to drink it And hopefully today... I'll have it gone before I leave Before the sun"s next ray! _________________________________________________ Short and sweet and hard to beat??!!! lol... God is in His heaven and all's right in an upside down world... mmm...mmm...reminds me of a pineapple cake...good with coffee...mmm...mmm...ok...ok...I'll stick to my diet today but I really do have to have my creamy coffee fix...Take care and behave yourself...You are the apple of God's eye! I'm sure some of you are winding down or are headed for the beach. Well...It's 11:31 pm and my eyes are starting to drag...Binks! Bring that back...There he goes...getting into things again! :excited: mmm.mmm ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slow and easy Here I go To sleep in the next room... I start to close my eyes And then I hear a big KABOOM... I jump up fast And slide across The room with One big jerk... And wouldn't you just know it I see him there with one ear perked. Please tell me what you're doing now so I can go to sleep... He rolled those big brown eyes At me but his bark was kind of weak.. I looked around and spotted it The pie was on the floor... I knew within that moment That the dog had finally scored... O.K. I won' t get mad at you I said it with a wink... Cause I just love that doggie so although he is a pie thief... _________________________________________________ And on that light, almond eyed, note...This song is " Goodnight Sweeheart, well it's time to go....!" Me and Binks wish you all kinds of dog kisses...(oh...you can stop now...), a special word from the Lord, " A friend sticketh closer than a brother...! I actually got eight hours of sleep, yeah!...Coffee's on and I have time for breakfast today. Why don't you just sit down at the table and I'll throw some eggs and bacon on or would you prefer strawberry crepes or even oatmeal... Choice is yours....mmm...starting to smell good around here...:dancingp: _______________________________________________ It feels so good just sitting here with nothing more to do Than just talking to my friends and sharing things with you. Although we've had a couple days of rain outside, it's nice To know that God stayed in with us and gave us some advice. On how we need to walk with Him and listen everyday To what He has in store for us along His precious way. Let nothing try to hinder us, be in His perfect will He will tell us what to do if we can just be still...(like Rev) And get to know that quiet place where He alone abides I know He will invite us in and to have a talk inside. _________________________________________________ Whether you're at the beach, mountains or your own back yard, today, know that God is in all those places and knows where you are at this point in your life...He's longing for you to take a few minutes and have a cup of coffee with Him.
