Ok...lets have some fun...and enjoyment! THE MENTOR I see as you are Not with eyes of prejudice or fault But with anticipation of your every move... Your voice is like a melody waiting to be sung I hang onto every note with envy Contemplating the next harmonious passage... Consumed by the thing I fear most I relish in the fragrance of courage and strength Emmanating from you and am totally captivated... Deep within me lies the essence of your soul That I might someday walk as you walk now Never measuring another by wealth but rather by character portrayed... Love does not describe what you mean to me My Teacher, Guide, and Friend May I someday be the reflection of this Priceless Encounter! Flowers in a basket. Basket on a bed. Bed in the room. Room in the house. House in the yard. Yard in the lane. Lane in the street. Street in the town. Town in the city. City in the kingdom. Thought I'd share one of my favorites. PRAY PRAY ! When all your soul on tiptoe stands in wistful eagerness to talk with God; put out your hands, God bends to hear; it would be sin not to draw near. PRAY ! When gray inertia creeps through your soul, as through a man who fights the cold, then growing languid slumbereth, and slumbering knows not it's death. PRAY ! When swamped in sin and shame and nowhere else to pin the blame but on your own will and waywardness; God knows you, Loves you nonetheless. SO........... PRAY. Hey Rev...are you awake, yet???? Been waiting to holler at you this morning...oh.....that's the south coming out in me, again !!! Some people just keep you up way toooo late at night! Not mentioning names, of course....:dancingp: Woke up at five instead of six But I am wide awake... Put on the biscuits They smell good I like the kind that flakes! The eggs are on The clothes laid out The shower running wild... I have to let my Binksy out Before he his fur is riled... So may you have a blessed day And keep yourself in line...
