Ok...lets have some fun...and enjoyment! THE MENTOR I see as you are Not with eyes of prejudice or fault But with anticipation of your every move... Your voice is like a melody waiting to be sung I hang onto every note with envy Contemplating the next harmonious passage... Consumed by the thing I fear most I relish in the fragrance of courage and strength Emmanating from you and am totally captivated... Deep within me lies the essence of your soul That I might someday walk as you walk now Never measuring another by wealth but rather by character portrayed... Love does not describe what you mean to me My Teacher, Guide, and Friend May I someday be the reflection of this Priceless Encounter! Awesome poetry has been rocking around here...Good to be back... BATH...NORTH CAROLINA I went with friends this weekend To a little place called Bath... It truely was an awesome place A little off the map... I saw the oldest little church In North Carolina's state... And they say Blackbeard live right here And even gave the date... We swiftly sailed along Bath Creek And then toward Pamlico Sound... God blessed us with his beauty there Nothing better could be found... I closed my eyes and felt Him As the wind whipped through my hair... And smelt His special presence From the salt to earthy air... The clouds were simply rapturous And I could barely breathe... Just trying to click pictures Of the artwork God had weaved.. The only thing we seemed to catch Were little croaker fish... We threw them back and waved Goodby, they're not a tasty dish... But late at night when all was still I thought of all of you... And said a prayer and thanked the Lord... I hope you missed me, too! Love you bunches! Robin Post Reply
