You're being targeted by one of the most powerful organizations in the world.

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has Christians in their crosshairs. They are lobbying the United Nations to adopt a resolution that would make speaking out against Islam a crime ...

... A crime punishable by imprisonment, heavy fines, and even death.

Stand with the ACLJ - and the ECLJ - as we oppose the OIC and put an immediate end to this anti-Christian bigotry. Add your name right now to our PETITION OPPOSING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE.

Here's the dangerous situation: The OIC is the largest lobbying organization inside the United Nations. In fact, next to the U.N., the OIC is the largest global organization.

They're attempting to pass a sinister resolution that is nothing more than blatant religious bigotry. Called ''Combating Defamation of Religions,'' it sounds palatable - however, it boldly targets men and women of faith who speak out against Islam.

This is very important to understand. This radical proposal would outlaw Christianity ... it would make the proclamation of your faith an international crime.

Send a powerful message to the OIC and take a strong stand against anti-Christian bigotry by adding your name to our nationwide campaign right now. Sign the PETITION OPPOSING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE.

In his recent dissent on the Supreme Court's ruling on Guantanamo Bay, Justice Scalia said, ''America is at war with radical Islamists.''

Never has this rung more true than today. Never have Christians been more targeted for their religious beliefs. And never have we faced a more dangerous threat than the one posed by the OIC.

Put your name on the line in defense of your faith! Sign our PETITION OPPOSING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE and support the ACLJ as we face the United Nations on your behalf.

Let me be clear: This is an important opportunity for you to stand in unified support of the religious rights of individuals around the globe who are routinely persecuted - and sometimes put to death - because of their religious beliefs.

It could one day be you and I. We must act now to combat this resolution and work to protect the religious rights of all individuals.:boxing:

Do you think Tomie got kicked off the site for his many opinions or do you think he just quit?

Tomie absolutely did not get kicked out. He left on his own for personal reasons.

On the contrary, we were very sad to see him go.

Just wanted everyone to know just in case others were wondering. :glow:

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I was also disappointed as I found him quite amusing and hope my question did not reflect negatively on him or the site.

This really makes me sad. Tommie was a very caring person and the political agenda was truthful. He really tried to keep everyone informed. We were talking at church this past Sunday about this very post. If Tommie should read this post, I really care and hope everything is going well for him.

He will be sorely missed.

LLLK,

The post here is an important one! Did you know that the organization that this came from is the ACLJ. American Center for Law and Justice fights for our rights as Christians. They do many many good things for Christianity. Perhaps you might look into this and you will understand. The ACLU is the one you must look out for! Maybe you were confused. Hope this helps. P.S. People move on for many reasons, it doesn't mean they were kicked out. Peace to you!

The ACLJ is a very prominent Christian organization that is a watchdog for us...It's time to be aware of our surroundings lest we be caught sleeping.

A final apology for when I got off this very important subject with that post. I was not familiar with the etiquette of the forums at the time that I wrote that.

Extremist, Radical, Jihadist... why is it that the Pacifist Islamics never make the news? The Koran doesn't allow pacifism! So why sensationalize the news with extraneous words, does death alone not draw the readers as it once did? No, it should not interest Christians, according to the Bible, the dead should bury the dead. Who has not been to a funeral with a photo montage of the deceased person and seen individuals looking for the deceased in group photos like a morbid game of Where's Waldo?

Christ was persecuted and crucified. Christians DO NOT COMBAT those who persecute us.

Starting in Matthew to Revelation every word states over and over again that we are to praise the Lord as we are persecuted.

Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteous sake.....

In Christ, the end time means Christian persecution.

John
