Posted : 10 Apr, 2025 09:37 PM I see my retirement savings disappearing with all these pronounced drops in the market by his careless and reckless move for tariffs when we don't have the infrastructure to be competitive. First build the state of the art plants with robotics and automation that make human being obsolete. Then charge the tariffs. What happened to "Drill Baby Drill"? What happened to peace between Russia and Ukraine DAY ONE? Energy Independence was to lower our costs. Do that first. The External Revenue Service is a great idea after we have the infrastructure in place to produce our own goods. It is reckless and irresponsible hitting the world with tariffs when we do not even have the infrastructure in place for a competitive market. Foolish! Absolute foolishness. Post Reply

The status quo were literally destroying this country and if Camel Harryass had been installed as sleepy, creepy, wet his pants Bidet was we only would have had a few years left before total collapse along with a total takeover of the Satanic demoncrat party and rinos. Trumps not perfect and neither are all his policies but I see them mostly working out over time. The demoncrats are fighting tooth & nail to stop any and all good changes so they will have some limited success especially in the beginning. I see things working out in the long barring any major catastrophes like a Trump or Elon assassination. I only have a few short years left to live, but I still want those still living to have a better life after I'm gone and I think the Trump train is their best chance at it. Post Reply

Definitely, Kamala Harris would have been THE WORST OF PRESIDENTS EVER and was not the Democrat Party putting forward their best. I appreciate Trump closing the border, and I appreciate him sending some bad eggs home. I was hopeful he would negotiate peace deals and bring about a moment of greater world peace. Good objective! And while I do not like Big Oil, I thought "Drill Baby Drill" might reduce our dependence on foreign oil and lower the cost upon Americans. But his overly bold manner with tariffs harms the wallet in one, causing the markets to drop pronouncedly, and two, increasing the cost for consumers as the cost of tariffs gets passed along to the consumers so that the prices just rise up. We do not yet have built up the infrastructure to be competitive in industry after sending manufacturing overseas. So, it is too rash these moves, and it harms relations and harms the American people, and it may cost the Republican Party its House Majority at the Mid-Term elections. Then everything would be by Executive Order instead of being run through Congress and Senate. Trump may lose the Popular Vote. Some priorities are worthwhile. Other priorities should be last. And I think that it would have been nice to 'rebuild the infrastructure' before the tariffs were imposed, but I do not think that the people that worked hard to destroy the infrastructure are going to politely sit by and allow the machine shop to be rebuilt. Its nice when a wild animal gets caught in the trap and you can reach into the trap and remove the animal, but say that in the trap you catch an aligator and poisionous snakes...then its time to break out the gun and kill whatevers is in the trap and then stick your hand in! I also believe that tariffs are the right thing to do. It's absolutely shameful that our government for so many years has allowed any country that we do business to rip us off, especially China. Every person in this country that pays taxes has higher taxes because of the tariff situation. I'm happy that we finally have a President with enough bullocks to fight for us, even if we don't all agree on how he should do it. Post Reply
