I have been told that before Mike Johnson became speaker of the House, he was a pretty conservative guy. Point #1 (headline) -How Speaker Johnson helped Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election- https://edition.cnn.com/2024/04/12/politics/johnson-2020-election-history/index.html (So Johnson obviously knew that the democrat party does not play fair and he was trying to overturn the stolen election) Point #2 (headline) -How Mike Johnson Went from Relative Obscurity to Speaker of the House- https://www.newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/how-mike-johnson-went-from-relative-obscurity-to-speaker-of-the-house (I mean no disrespect. but how does a 51 year old nobody from Lousiana...take a rocketship ride to the top to become third in line to the presidency. Unless some big players had allowed him to be in the position.) Lets review the facts: when Johnson was a 'nobody' Congressman then he stood against fraud...then Johnson gets elevated to the position of speaker and he decides that warrentless searches are ok...sounds like someone had a "talk" with Mr. Johnson about how he was voting? My conclusion, I remember that during the election "someone*" prevented polling judges from being able to watch the votes being counted. ...I wonder if the "someones" that tried to cover up the political contest steal, are the same group of someones that are trying to tie Trump up in New York City court for 8 weeks, maby that same group of 'someones' took a realitivy honest Congressman and allowed him to become speaker because thoes someones knew that they could manipulate the votes that Johnson cast? https://www.newsweek.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-mike-johnson-blackmail-tucker-carlson-1886758 Post Reply

Initially, I had a favorable impression of the guy. But after he supported a careless omnibus bill with a thousand and one evils, I wondered why Mike Johnson would do that and what influenced him to go along with the Devil in supporting such wickedness. I wondered what gun was being held to his head for him to go along with the liberals. My opinions of him dropped a hundred notches. Post Reply
