In my opinion one key to minimize a bad relationship is to try not to put 'love goggles on'. I guess people put on love goggles to try to be nice. love goggles prevent you from seeing the faults in others...like say that your so called friend is always putting you down. Maby under normal circumstances you might think 'I no longer want that person to play a major role in my life, but the love goggles make you all googly eyed and you have a hard time recognizing a bad situation. Sometimes relationship predators intentionally do things to trick you into thinking that they are on your side. One of these tricks is called projection: narcissistic personality disorder.
