TravisjustTravis View Profile History	The American people are being forced into a game of 'keep away' Posted : 6 Jul, 2022 05:32 PM (Headline) DOJ sues Arizona over election law that requires proof of citizenship for federal voting https://nypost.com/2022/07/05/doj-sues-arizona-election-law-that-requires-proof-of-citizenship-for-federal-voting/ --Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke in the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division said the Arizona law is a “textbook violation” of the National Registration Act that requires each state to establish federal election voter registration procedures. “For nearly three decades, the National Voter Registration Act has helped to move states in the right direction by eliminating unnecessary requirements that have historically made it harder for eligible voters to access the registration rolls,” Clarke said in a press release. “Arizona has passed a law that turns the clock back on progress by imposing unlawful and unnecessary requirements that would block eligible voters from the registration rolls for certain federal elections. “The Justice Department will continue to use every available tool to protect all Americans’ right to vote and to ensure that their voices are heard.”-- (I will say to Kristen Clarke that she gave a good example of an incredibly 'lib-ta*ded' answer) In case you missed what is going on... the department of justice is suing a state for making a law that says 'you need to prove that you are a U.S. Citizen if you want to have a say in how the country is being ran' Post Reply
