Chicago's 797 homicides in 2021 highest in 25 years, most of any US city

Last year ended as one of the most violent on record for Chicago with more fatal shootings than any year in the last quarter century.
The Chicago Police Department reported 797 homicides in the city in 2021, the most in Chicago since 1996 and more than any other city in the country. The 2021 figure was also 25 more incidents than in 2020 and 299 more than in 2019, according to The Associated Press.
"We all know this has been a challenging year here in the city of Chicago," Police Superintendent David Brown said at a news conference this week, per the AP. "Too many families are reeling from the loss of (loved) ones due to senseless gun violence."
Brown added that most of the homicides stemmed from conflicts between rival gangs.
The city's police department reported 3,561 shootings in 2021, the wire service added.
Both New York and Los Angeles, which have larger populations than Chicago, records at least 300 less homicides in 2021 than the Windy City, according to the AP.
In an effort to address violence, Brown said Chicago intends to employ more officers in the new year.
"There will be more officers on the street, not just in patrol cars or behind desks, to interact with all Chicagoans," he said, according to the AP.
Homicides in 2021 were of notable concern elsewhere in the U.S. as well.

Concerning 'blm' (black lives matter) it is plain to see that the movement is only concerned about certain back lives, but blm is not even concerned about all black individuals.
The blm movement in Chicago Il they wanted to defund the police (because the claim was that the police unfairly targeted black people)
Of course the mayor of Chicago named Lorie Litefoot 'supported the idea of defunding the police'...but was Lorie speaking out of both sides of her mouth? As you will be able to see, in Lori's lib-tard*d mind it makes perfect sense to say the words 'stop and go' at the same time. (Lori was unable to pick a lane and drive in it...so she decided to drive in multiple lanes?)

I clearly am offended by stup*d people. (For example someone that fights hard to end a certain policy, and then quickly figures out that the policy should have never been disolved) But I need to learn that many people that are still apart of the lib-ta*d army...maby I should feel sory for the reta*ded person that was tricked into thinking that 'they can dig the space aliens out of there nose with a soup spoon'.
blm members, antifia members, democrat socialist members, any and all 'liberal minded people', even 'conservative/JFK era' democrats...you guys are being used. The commanders that you guys are taking orders from they do not have your best intrests in mind (in no way should you throw away your undergarments because a ghost lives there).

The patriots are trying not to laugh as you climb into the cannons because your 'commanders' are telling you that you are well suited to be a make shift cannon ball.
