El Paso has a population of about 680,000. The health department is going to fine people who don't wear masks or socially distance. The convention center is going to open, next week, as an additional hospital that will have a capacity of 100 beds. The state is also going to deploy auxiliary medical units to the hospitals. They will hold 100 beds each. |
