Admin	Remdesivir Posted : 23 Oct, 2020 11:35 AM Yesterday, the FDA approved a drug, called remdesivir, to be used to treat covid-19. this is an antiviral medicine. It is not a vaccine. Vaccines are used to prevent illness not to treat them. There is not yet any vaccine approved to prevent covid-19. All covid-19 vaccines are still being tested. Post Reply

Veklury should only be administered in a hospital or in a healthcare setting capable of providing acute care comparable to inpatient hospital care.
