I've seen some people, including pastors, apply Matthew 18:12-14 to BLM

These same people that claims saying All Lives Matter is wrong, applies these verses to BLM, and that's not even what these verses mean. Let's look these three verses.

12 - "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?"

The one that wandered off? Who do you think that refers to? We were the ones that wandered off. When we were living in sin, we were that lost sheep. The man searching for us is Jesus.

13 - "And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off."

This verse is referring to being saved. Once we, those lost sheep, was found it was the happiest day of our lives. That's why so many who are saved remember the day they were saved. That's why they call it the second birth. God the Father is happy that when we're born again. Just like an earthly father is happy when his little son or daughter is born.

14 - "In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish."

Here Jesus is talking about the children. We as christians should humble ourselves like little children.

If you are lost it doesn't matter if you're black, white, brown, red, yellow, blue, you can be saved. If you are lost you can become His children. This doesn't just apply to BLM, and those pastors and preachers that I've seen only apply these verses to that, they need to open their Bibles and study it a harder.
