When a controlled burn is held, wind velocities and directions are determined ahead of time. The section to be burned to promote regrowth is selected. A Wild Fire is just that -- WILD. it is destroying animals, birds, buildings, homes, and sometimes causes the death of people. Post Reply

They're the result of fringe groups like environmentalist wackos who have gained enough political clout in California to destroy public policy regarding responsible forestry. Environmental wacko political power is frightening especially when one considers the devastation such liberal wackos are able to inflict on the populace by preventing responsible forestry techniques.
