One Nation Under God-Called To: "Love One Another"

I awoke this morning feeling the Holy Spirit tugging earnestly at my heart. It has been very hard for me to watch this BLM movement, which has now spilled over into the NFL, and many other things around the country. Although I truly feel that it was sparked and started over mainly lies, which have now grown into burning fires out of control. I also feel there are truths of racism still in our country and on both sides forwards one another. With emotions extremely high and volatile on both sides of the spectrum. I myself have have even been a little quick to react over false attaches and accusations of being called a racist. Especially, when it is the furthest thing from the truth. That said though, what does my truth, your truth, or any other truth, matter over The Lord's Truth and his Calling and Commandment to us all? The truth which reins over all truth! Love One Another!
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. ~John 13: 34-35~
We all feel that we have been done wrong in one way or another at some time. Christ our Lord and Savior was done wrong. As he was being crucified and done wrong here are his words in the midst of it:
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. ~Luke 23:34~
Being forgiven ourselves, are we not called to forgive our transgressors? Furthermore, are we ourselves are not pure and without wrong? No, we have done wrong in one way or another throughout life. This is what Jesus said to accusers of a woman:
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. ~John 8:7~
We are called by Christ to forgive one another as he forgives us.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. ~Colossians 3:13~
By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. ~1John 3:16~
If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. ~1John 4:20~
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. ~Romans 12:10~
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. ~Luke 6:35~
I will end by leaving you with what Paul writes and tells us about Love:
(The Way Of Love)
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
