Does anyone beside me find it ironic that the "News/Current Events" category hasn't been updated in over 2 months?

It would seem that there is no news worth talking about. . . . . . Perhaps you could find us some 'good news' that would be worth discussing?

How's this?

"The Christian parents of five children, who were seized by Norwegian child services seven months ago to "prevent" them from being "indoctrinated" with Christianity, will soon be reunited as the authorities have agreed to return the custody of the remaining four kids to the family."

I read the article you posted, and several others, about this situation in Norway and I find it very, very disturbing. While it is great news that the children will be returned to their parents, the emotional damage done to those children will be considerable.

I agree, but because the media doesn't report on the lost souls coming to Christ, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find news that is purely "good" without some aspect of being "bad," such as the one I shared.

So I suppose I will ask you, how do you define "good news?"

I don't think it's the job of mainstream media to report on souls saved for Christ; the Christian media did report it however.

As Christians, we know what the "good news" really is but, as this is a forum for current events type news, I'll stay on topic. . . : . . . Good news, colloquially, might be along the lines of "Cancer Cured" or "Poverty Eradicated" or "Peace Achieved." Hey, we can dream, right? . .
