"18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen. 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. 28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them." No human authority has the power to change what God has declared. God will judge every marriage by the biblical definition on the last day. God wasn't defeated by this in any way. Nothing can prevail against the Lord (Proverbs 21:30.) This nation rests under God's judgement. According to Isiah 5:20 those who call evil good are in the crosshairs of His judgement. This decision is going to threaten the tax-exempt status of the schools, non-profits, and churches sooner or later under the banner of "discrimination". It will be interesting to see how many churches, schools, and organizations will stand for truth and risk extinction for it. Prepare to see terms like "Natural Parent", "Mother", and "Father" removed from the US legal system. Also, this is going to lead to a slippery slope. According to their worldview who can say it's wrong to marry animals if they're both "happy." (I've seen videos on YouTube of University professors advocating consentual beastiality by the way.) After all, their agenda is masked under the banner of "love", a sick and twisted form of selfishness and pride (lovers of self rather than lovers of God.) This decision is going to affect all aspects of the society for the worse. And sadly, the "liberty experiment" has failed (though God never promises such things to begin with.) America is following the footsteps of so many nations before us, ones that we now study through archeology. However, we should remind ourselves that the battleground is not marriage; our battleground is the Gospel. We as Christians need to remain steadfast in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to the poor, no matter the cost. Post Reply

"However, we should remind ourselves that the battleground is not marriage; our battleground is the Gospel. We as Christians need to remain steadfast in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to the poor, no matter the cost. " We who are in Christ are called to always be a witness for Christ and spreading the gospel ! We are to "occupy" as Christ has called us to do until our dying breath or being taken up! Post Reply

He has been judging the godless world for some time now. This is just the tail end ( no pun intended) . And yes, those who want this abominable lifestyle will always want it because they have been turned over to a reprobate mind. God turned them over. They cant will themselves back the other way.
