A Guideline: List for Preparations for Times To Come

Guideline For Survival Preparation:
This list is not exhaustive. Its merely a guideline.
1. Water
a) Water filteration system(handmade with materials;total cost $35.00)..cheaper thandirt . com
b) Water storage bladders or food grade containers. (water bladder is $16.00 ) cheaper than dirt . com
c) Water treatment tablets or clorox droplets according to purification guides.
videos on how to make filter with buckets are on youtube. Its the video where he draws water from the dirty river.
2) Dehydrated milk and juice (boxes or otherwise)
3. Food
a) protein (beans,canned chicken,canned tuna and/or salmon, peanut butter,nuts,beanie weenies)
b)vegetables (canned green beans,spinach,dehydrated brocolli,etc..)
c)fruits (raisins,canned peaches,dehydrated apples,bananas
d) carbohydrates (rice,granola,)( flour,yeast,and sugar)
A costco or sams club membership will greatly lessen the cost of these things by buying in bulk.
4. Other things from pantry that have many uses:
a) olive oil
b) vinegar
c) baking soda9 this and peroxide can double as toothpaste)
d) salt
Extras or not.
a) coffee,creamer,koolaid, canned soup
b) chocolate, and pepper
5. Matches and lighters( lighters will be valuable in desperate times)
6. wood and/or charcoal and/or propane
7. charcoal or propane cooking grill
8.Toilet Paper
9. shovel (to dig holes to rid waste and possibly hide supplies.
10.porta potty( this can be homemade)(videos on youtube for learning how to make.
11.a few car batteries and 110 power inverter to charge computer and cell phones
12.First Aid Kit, peroxide,rubbing alcohol
13. necessary medications .. aspirin,advil,topical antiseptic cream,shampoo, soap
14. Flashlights,batteries,candles, oil lamps and lamp oil
15. Emergency solar crank up radio
16.Garbage bags
17. It may be necessary to have plywood and nails and hammer avail to board up windows.
18. I havent thought it through completely (venting) about the heating source in case its deep winter for heat and keeping pipes from bursting.
19. Stock pile blankets from thrift stores and garage sales.
20. Petro for automobiles . Be sure to keep in a place away from heat source and away from house.
21. Power generator for those who can afford it.
22.Clorox
23. Dont forget about the pets in our lives. Store up extra food for those furry friends.
