Cat4Christ777 View Profile History	The New Tower of Babel is Coming! Posted : 18 Aug, 2013 07:02 PM It is called the "One World Government." Read the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:1-9. It is not long, but it is very telling. It is a sign that, even back then, Man tends to ignore God or remove Him, then begin to glorify himself, building fantastic structures in praise to himself. PRIDE! I think this is where the famous phrase, "Pride goes before the fall," comes from. In our day, I believe we are beginning to see the same story play out, but on a much grander scale. It's humanism, which glorifies Man and rejects God outright. This can only lead to great folly! I'll add more detail later. Just had to get that idea out. Can anyone else see what's happening in our world, as I can? What do you think of all this? Post Reply

Posted : 13 Sep, 2013 11:47 AM Actually, Wkd1, This time it's on a much grander scale, since the world is no longer limited to a small region in the Middle East, as it was way back in the time of Genesis. Now there are around 7+ billion humans who will be effected and supressed by this new 'tower.' It's all about the few who wish to control the many. Will lead to horrific suffering by billions of innocent people. A grave wrong is being perpetrated here, but it can be stopped, if good people take action. Remember, it is said, 'Evil flourishes when good men do nothing.' Something to think about. --Cat Post Reply

Perhaps they built the tower because they had just gone through the flood and wanted protection from the wrath of God on their terms?? Sounds pretty likely to me, the same may be true now, perhaps they know that the conditions described in the bible (not all of them but the ones in seeming control) are about set up and the end is near!???? Posted : 13 Nov, 2013 11:44 AM So that they would not be scattered however read this; Gen 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. Gen 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. Gen 10:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. Cush is the grandson of Noah that makes Nimrod the great grandson and the people had certainly heard the story of the flood though after several years it may have been distorted a bit the further from Noah it got. Therefore it seems likely that those who did not fully trust the promise of the rainbow to not flood the earth again would try to protect themselves. Think about how society reacts now when something like the tsunami or the recent typhoon in the Philippians. They almost always over do it. People are people and their reactions are similar now to what they were then. Again it is speculation not scripture and speculate i will :applause: when it is not a core salvation issue. Posted : 20 Nov, 2013 12:43 PM Another (albeit remote) possibility is that they had a far more advanced technology than we think at the time and wanted to build a "space elevator" of sorts. The one thing that made me think of this was the fact that they wanted the tower to reach into the heavens. This theory means of course that when God destroyed the tower and scattered them in such a way that that they were forced back to the stone age (so to speak) for most things. Hey, you never know. Babel means the Gate of God and Yahway is clearly concerned not that they would simply stay together but that their unity would do something well beyond building monuments. Jacobs Ladder is described as a natural place that is a gate to heaven. The Bifrost of Norse mythology comes to mind as relating to this as well. In fact, ancient mythology is full of references to gates and doorways to other places and dimensions. Also, there are clear references to such technologies as robots, lasers and even nuclear weapons. Even Oppenheimer basically said he hade reinvented the A-bomb. I could go on for pages but I'll get off my soapbox. Post Reply
