politics why i think the supreme court really rules us to the dark sidePosted : 12 Mar, 2013 04:45 AMok i say most of all the bad decisions and laws have been because of the supreme court, abortion was started by them in the early 70's , porn was allow to be big because they say it's freedom of speech, and now we have the whole gay marriage thing come our way! these 9 people dressed in black have way too much power for unelected officials! they have changed everything, have allow the ten commandments to be taken out of public places and are making this country a very unchristian place to live in. what do you think? |

politics why i think the supreme court really rules us to the dark sidePosted : 10 Nov, 2013 01:23 PMi agree, many, not all but many of the early settlers were profound Christian. So much so that they were persecuted in the European countries they came from...mostly England. The Pilgrims, the Quakers, the Puritans.. just to name a few. The freedom of religion was based on a denominational standard. There were a few Jewish people and there were some agnostics as well but the HUGE majority were some form of Christian. One of the founding fathers (could look it up but i cannot remember which it was) said that our form of government would work ONLY with a Christian people that wished to obey the rules. Paraphrased as i am sure to not have quoted it word for word. |
