God struck dead a man for touching the ark of the covenant when the oxen stumbled. I do not think the consecrated bread is to be given anyone just because they are hungry even as the Lord's Supper should not be treated in such way.

LD is arrogant man trying to find everyone else's life sins but his own .

Definitely not any teacher here.

Many divorced Men on here I've chatted with . I message Men on other Venues and I'm not dependent on CDFF.

Also get m teaching from Men who are married and Biblical teachers.

I think that God is constantly talking to us, but that we are too dull to get the message.

I think God speaks now one way and now another.

Again, we are too dull to get the message.

We were promised the Holy Spirit, and we were promised the Holy Spirit to give us words.

Jesus said we should be glad of his going to heaven so that he could send to us the Counselor.

He promised the Counselor.

Are you saying that we do not have the Counselor except for that which is already written in Bible text and Bible books? Then why did Christ even need to send the Counselor if what was in writing was enough? The people of God have the scrolls, so where is the Holy Spirit then needed? From what you say, the Holy Spirit appears obsolete, and we should just look at paper.

I think we need the Holy Spirit.

I think we need to tune ourselves to the Holy Spirit.

I think we are well familiar with the Bible from our reading it many times.

I do not think we are well tuned to the Holy Spirit. I think we lack the Holy Spirit.

Definitely, we have Bible knowledge from reading the Bible again and again. Just as the Pharisees acquired Bible knowledge, so have we.

But we do not have God as much as we like and we do not have the Holy Spirit as much as we like, but we should pray to have greater portions of the Spirit as we lack discernment.

Everyone here lacks discernment.

But you are right that some things are in scripture, such as "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." "No one is righteous, not even one." "Let he without sin be first to cast the stone." Many words are in scripture and true that it is adultery for a man to marry a divorced woman and true it is adultery when a divorced woman marries someone else. But all us are sinners here. We all deserve Hell for one reason or another. Everyone here can confess a host of sins. Like most here, I confess that I break the first and greatest commandment. I guess that makes me a good Lutheran as that confession is also in many Lutheran books of worship. But more those that proclaim that they love God with all their heart do not love God with all their heart as Jesus says, "If you love me, you will obey what I command." People say they are God-fearing, yet the Bible says that fear of the Lord will keep you from sin. So it is that most neither fear God nor love him, but we are here anyway for one reason or another because we are relational beings in want of relationship or scammers.

I am here for want of relationship and for lack of better.

I better used my time in my past.

Now I am reduced to this.

Divorce is not the unpardonable sin. There are Biblical reasons for some divorces.

Some who say they will never get divorced probably have " Never been married".

Lol you have to be married first then prsy you don't get divorced.

Im happy I don't get my Biblical guidance from online.

America is becoming like a Sodum and Gomorrah.

Especially with Biden administration.

Much won't change if Trump gets president. Many laws are already in place.

World 🌎 will wax Worse!

Yes, "America is becoming like a Sodom and Gomorrah. Especially, with Biden administration."

True! Divorce is a pardonable sin.

Of course, we do not want to divorce God.

To further add, if a man divorces a faithful wife and marries someone else, he commits adultery in so doing, and to further add, Romans 2:23,

"You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?" Romans 2:22 "You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery?"

A lot of hypocrisy going on.

None of these sites would have many people if they did not have divorced people or single moms.

None of these sites would be successful.

To screen out all sinners, who would be left here?

Moonlight, yes the Bible says some people can legitimately divorce and remarry. But you say you divorced a “good man”. But you’re unwilling to say why you divorced a “good man”‼️‼️‼️ You don’t have to share secrets but it’s unusual for someone to announce that they’ve divorced a “good man” especially when so many people here are looking for a GOOD person to marry‼️‼️

W&T SAYS: “God struck dead a man for touching the ark of the covenant when the oxen stumbled. I do not think the consecrated bread is to be given anyone just because they are hungry even as the Lord's Supper should not be treated in such way.”

LD REPLIES: Ok, so you disagree with Jesus and you would break with the 👉intention👈 of the law instead by allowing a hungry person to starve. I can see the headlines now, the loving Christian Joel Olstern refusing shelter for flood victims.

As for Uzzah touching the Ark of the Covenant, haven’t you read about the instructions Uzzah was taught. Not only was the Ark transported incorrectly but no one was supposed to touch the Ark‼️‼️ There’s no comparison between the Ark incident and the starving men eating the priests bread. You’re comparing apples and oranges. Besides, you overlooked something else. The priest asked if David’s men had relations with women before he allowed them to eat of the bread. You must learn to respect all the facts in whatever scriptural narrative you want to cite

W&T let me add this.

When Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to his disciples the New Testament hadn’t been written as yet. The New Testament was written by the Apostles (the disciples) but inspired by the Holy Spirit. Christians are never told to listen to mysterious voices going off inside or outside their heads.

If you insist on hearing God speak to you, like the apostles and prophets heard from God the Holy Spirit, then provide some examples.

Maybe like this:

God said:

W&T replied:

God responds:

W&T replies:

Looking forward to you sharing what God said to you
