When Trump is no longer President, they will try to undo Trump policies.

Biden was very quick with Executive Orders to undo Trump polices,

and Trump was DAY ONE with the stroke of a pen quick to undo Biden policies.

It goes both ways.

It is YO-YO motions in politics.

Back and forth.

Yes, thousands of jobs are coming back to America, but think about it. To be modern and to be competitive, more of those jobs go to automation and robotics.

Inasmuch as there will be new jobs and job openings through more industry in the United States and labeling that says MADE IN THE U.S.A., a Chinese owned company that manufactures items in the U.S. made through automation and robotics and profiting Chinese investors, HOW HELPFUL IS THAT TO THE U.S.?

Also, there will be job openings that some will want to fill with foreigners, and we are kicking out foreigners at this time. The illegals may sing "SHOULD I STAY? OR SHOULD GO?"

Automation will certainly be a key to stay competitive but there will still be plenty of good paying jobs for those who are willing to fill them. College will not be the place to learn the skills necessary and have just become useless idiot mills as seen by the I.C.E. protesters. For many it was the only paying gigs they could get with their useless degrees.

Most don't know this but many of the more recent millionaires are people who went into trades like plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrician and construction because no matter what happens in the manufacturing sector everybody needs something fixed or built at some point and have to hire someone to do the work.

If only I could come out of retirement. If I was able that would mean God had mercy on me and granted a complete healing.

I think tariffs are an interesting thought, but a sole dependence on tariffs would be suicide. Countries will boycott our products and will be placing tariffs on us and the thing on tariffs could do more harm than good. People may more rather do business with China than to choose to do business with us. Tariffs amount to a nice thought. Reality is there are consequences for policies. The results are not ideal. Imperfect people. Imperfect solutions. Government should definitely end wasteful spending and government should permanently close the welcome mat to illegals pouring into the country and living off the system. Reality is the U.S. will never compete with cheap labor. Our only hope is to make Superior products and QUALITY PRODUCTS that people are willing to pay a higher price tag for something better. We should not compete in making lower quality products. It is a good bit foolish the things we do. We must go for better and we must go for sense.

One of the most important things for the U.S. is not to allow any country especially China to manufacture items that are important to national our national defense and the health of Americans which is unfortunately where we're at right now.

How the idiots running the country before P.D,J.T. thought it was okay to allow it did so not just for profit but for evil purposes. The U.S. is sitting in a pretty precarious position which it would appear only P.D.J.T. wants to do something about and if tariffs are the only way to get it done then more power to him.

Yes, Trump is tackling the issues.

True, we should have never sent most all our manufacturing to China.

In case of conflict, China can quickly equip its manufacturing plants to produce weapons of war, but here in the States, we no longer have the infrastructure. Our advantage during WW2 was that we had a great infrastructure already in place to be refitted for the war effort. Thus, we won the war because we led the world in manufacturing. We no longer lead the world in manufacturing, and we should not trust China to produce things for us that compromise us. That could easily BACKFIRE.
