-The oldest dinosaurs we know about are around 235 million years old, from the middle part of the Triassic Period. Those reptiles didn’t rule anything. From recent finds in Africa, South America, and Europe, we know that they were no bigger than a medium-sized dog and were lanky, omnivorous creatures that munched on leaves and beetles. Ancient relatives of crocodiles, by contrast, were much more abundant and diverse. Among the Triassic crocodile cousins were sharp-toothed carnivores that chased after large prey on two legs, “armadillodiles” covered in bony scutes and spikes, and beaked, almost ostrich-like creatures that gobbled up ferns.-
-Intense volcanic eruptions in the middle of Pangaea altered the global climate; the gases released into the air caused the world to swing between hot and cold phases.-

God created the Universe that includes everything ! Dinosaurs were here before Man. I had a conversation with a man who claims he is a christian and he told me dinosaurs were he before man. Even though God created man first I thought going Genises.
But no man knows exactly how OLD the earth really Is. No not the scientist either.
Dinosaurs were all different sizes and types.
There is the Gape theory that has been discussed by many Bible theologist about this subject.

LD: You’re getting your information from a pop science site. Popular science is popular because it appeals to popular ignorance. There’s no such thing as “235 million years” and there’s no such thing as a “Triassic Period”. The fact there is no science behind these claims has been proven over and over. The only thing propping these foolish ideas is blind religious (humanistic) belief and irrational conjecture.

Oh yes, I forgot about the Gap Theory.
The Gap Theory, also known as “The Ruin and Reconstruction Theory”, is dishonest theological compromise AND an eisegetical abuse of Genesis 1:1&2. It was promoted by Scottish theologian Thomas Chalmers (1780-1847)
The Gap Theory was perpetrated by likeminded theologians who were too ashamed of the original 6 day 24 hour interpretation of the creation week.
They wanted something that could be used to harmonize the creation account with modern “science” (modern back then) and it seemed the Gap Theory fit the bill. In this way they could have their cake and eat it too. At least in this way one could accuse them of being “anti-science”, you see.
