For really bad sore throats this works for me: hot lemonade. I don't know what it is, but that works wonders on my throat when it is really, really sore. Post Reply

When she gets a sore throat it is lots of lozenges, but don't get the sticky sweet kind. Milk and honey is good if you're sick, but if you have to sing and you have drainage causing the sore throat, milk increases phlem. Keep your vocal chords moist, but right before you sing, take a good swallow of lemon juice to de-coat your chords. If all else fails, make a joyful noise. Rose Post Reply
