Admin	Be Humble. Posted : 12 Apr, 2010 08:21 PM Everyone has a special way sometimes in introducing them selves. My way is simple. Im just a guy who is hungry for the Word of God. A guy who loves Jesus and HIS Father. My testimony starts where that I got Saved as a teen. Then I went in the military and back slide. During that time I believe in God but didnt have a relationship with him. After years, a wife and two kids, I tried to focus on my family but felt the love wasnt coming back to me. I felt my wife didnt love me sometimes. So I turn to porn on the internet for the first time. My wife busted me looking at it and she forgave me the first time. Things got better but the last few years were crazy. I got more selfish, frustrated, and childish. So went back on the internet to look at porn. I felt ashamed and lie to my wife about it. So God showed me how my life was going and I knew that I needed to change. I gave my life back to christ with the help of some spiritual friends. It was too late in my wife standards for the marriage. We are separated and going through a divorce. But I thank God for being there for me and shining the light on my situation. I havent look at porn over a year and I thank Jesus for helping me. Now I talk to youth groups and teach them that God is the answer not emotions. I thank my wife for yelling at me and putting me out the house. It just push me more and more to have a relationship with God. Im Saved in Christ and feels great :peace: In the Word it says put the old things behind and you are a new creature. Im in God's army now and I will never get out of HIS glory. If you learn from them, you have not gone thru this situation in vain. There is a thread going on right now under biblical questions and discussion that addresses pornography. It is so easy for people who have never watched it or opened the door for this particular demon to understand it's addictive qualities. So glad you found your way back into the marvelous light. I rejoice with you, and once you are free to date and marry again, I pray God will give you that second chance to put into practice that which you have learned. :dancingp: Post Reply
