Looking for My Best Friend and My LoverPosted : 7 Mar, 2010 02:10 PMSo many people jump into relationships without being friends first. Why is that? Can you have a great relationship with a potential lifetime partner without being his or her friend first? The most incredible relationship I have had was with my former best friend, who I have been best friends with since 2nd grade. So maybe there is some truth to that. |

Looking for My Best Friend and My LoverPosted : 8 Mar, 2010 02:06 PMI understand the importance of the people in a relationship also being "best friends", however, the whole being friends first thing, has never worked out for me. It leaves me with those "feelings" and the other person just seeing me as a friend! I understand your confusion...good post! |

Looking for My Best Friend and My LoverPosted : 9 Mar, 2010 06:25 AMStorm- Friends first is a good saying but is it plausible. This is something I am really working on now. By the time you reach my age it is truly time to learn from your mistakes. Plus by the time you have reached my age of 25 you should have this whole "Boy meets Girl thing down pact. " |
