pluc View Profile History	Your Pictures Say A Lot About You Posted : 12 Feb, 2010 07:37 AM Ok so a lot of people message you back and forth and they should know the first thing the other person is going to do is go look at your pictures. If you don't have any then the question is why not. What are they trying to hide? Next if you have one bad picture that does not help much because you can not get a real read of who you are. Next ladies do not be ashamed of yourselves and how you look. You are who you are. Although we men really love good looking women. We are not totally stupid we do look at everything. With that said the picture is the first impression so make it the best picture that you can. Have someone take several great looking pictures of you. Then awe them with your humor, your charm, your intelligence or whatever you have. And most of all trust God to give you what you are looking for. Please remember beauty starts on the inside then it comes out so everyone can see it. Women you are truly beautiful creatures believe that. You have what we want but if you do not put up a picture how can we see it. If you think you are to big then that is telling you something. Work on that because as you work on it your whole demeanor will change and believe me we will see it and want it. Be encouraged my sisters and brothers you can do this. God made you the most beautiful creatures in the world. Use everything you got to attract the right person into your life. Blessings to you. PLUC Post Reply

But I have nothing to hide..I am who I am and I love who I am. Looks are superfical. Do not get me wrong now. A person shoud take pride of their looks and it is that person choice of that. Me personally I take care of myself: I work out, I eat healthy..(sometimes I cheat, I love sweets). But for example: Most men or some will choose perfect body, model type over average or slightly over or below average. Is that persons pice really them? I am not questioning yours, just in general..I think what what makes a person attractive is character, loyalty, honesty, friendship, good morals and a must is have God in their life.. Post Reply

pluc View Profile History	Your Pictures Say A Lot About You Posted : 13 Feb, 2010 11:25 AM So are you talking about me or people in general when you say is it the real you. As for me I took several pictures over several weeks in order to document the real me. As a photographer I can make it look really good, poses, lighting, etc. But in the picture you see everything. You see the gray hair, you see the lazy eye that in real life I am trying to fix. But you also see the smile which reveals the joy that is inside. In my profession I have found that the women that take the best pictures are usually over weight women. I take pictures of young women and that makes a little difference but the real cute young women take terrible pictures. I do not know why. So I truly look at the whole package. That being said I am a real man and I love beauty. But but beauty starts in the spirit by being a real christian, then it comes to your attitude about life and love and all of that is captured in your images. Post Reply

You know I am not trying to hala because you are to young for me. Every guy is going to look and say wow. Because men are moved by what they see and women are moved but what they hear. You can not stop the fact that you are beautiful. So you have to watch the men more carefully to see what they are about. You have to weed through the trash better to find the jewel. You have the advantage. It is kind of like the older guy that has lots of money and great swagger. The women want him but he has to find the one that is not just after his money. Their is price to pay for success or beauty. But would you rather have the alternative. Post Reply
View Profile History	Your Pictures Say A Lot About You Posted : 14 Feb, 2010 12:53 AM Hey, everyone. I'm not speaking to anyone in particular, but am throwing in my opinion. I am a plus sized, healthy sister. My question would be by whose or what standard of beauty do we compare or stand ourselves up against when we look in the mirror and ask ourselves, am I beautiful? I had a few relationships in my time and they all liked me for different reasons. One didn't care what size I was but liked me because I was a lighter-skinned red-bone(ask somebody if you don't know what that is:glow:). Another was attracted to me because I WAS thick. One long term man in my life, told me he just liked me and told me to do me. Since we are all Christians (right?) we can always find what we need in the Word. The Word very plainly speaks of a virtuous woman and her worth. Society, the media, what I think men want, none of these dictate how I view myself. I asked God. He took me to the Word, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made". So as I started to love myself knowing that God loved me first, I'm free to be me. I am free to be whatever healthy size I feel good at and my confidence, good self-worth and joy shine through. THAT is beautiful. Post Reply

You see I think real beauty starts when you think you are beautiful no matter what anybody else thinks. It is not the weight that makes you who you are it is how you wear the weight and how you dress the weight up. I personally never have thought I was handsome. When I became a photographer I really thought I was worst. I photographed a lot of handsome men. Then I realized that beauty comes from within. So I had better be proud of who I was and let it show. Then I begin to learn more about how to dress it up so the outside reflected the beauty that was on the inside. All my life I have lived for the Lord. All my life I have tried to do the right thing. I figure He lives in me and He is the most beautiful so I am going to let Him shine with my actions, attitude, love, faith , joy, laughter, and even how I look. So if you are plus size then be proud of it. If you are to skinny then dress it up. If you have a sleepy eye like me wake it up. But by all means do not act like it doesn't matter. It is not the most important thing in the world but it does matter especially to your future spouse. Give them something to be proud of. Post Reply

You don't know me so I want you know ahead of time that nothing I'm about to write is being written with any hostility. Too skinny? Too big? Lazy eye? By what standard do you propose we juxtapose these alleged shortcomings? I believe our differences are what make the world go round and make it so interesting. I submit that people would be and are most miserable trying to change themselves to be what they think will make them acceptable. To who? Society? To people (in your case, women) who have also succumbed to America's limited viewpoint on what beauty is? If I was in the same room with you right now I would ask you this, why are you trying to 'fix' your eye? I assert that perhaps because you work in a profession that has a fixed concept of what beauty is, that your opinion has been thus shaped. In my opinion, our quirks and idiosyncrasies are what give us character and individuality. Whew! But I think its awesome that we have a forum to disagree. I believe that if you love yourself the way you are then you are beautiful and that will show. Everyone will see it. But honestly most people that have some type flaw or supposed flaw let it get to them. They think ir defines them like this be chip on my front tooth. But I had to learn to smile anyway with the chip until I get it fixed. So if a person is over weight according to society but they love it then they are beautiful and will usually light the camera up. But if they let the world tell them it is ugly they will lose confidence and take terrible pictures. But please by all means my sister hit me with what you got because I am not offended matter of fact I love the exchange it is what makes us great. Post Reply

I haven't had to break that type of vocabulary out for quite awhile.
