I would like to make some friends here but I am getting the impression there are alot of unfriendly people here. I pray that would change, if I talk to someone I would love to be a friend first, see what happens from there. I do desire to marry but, it would nice to have a few friends to encourage you or I encourage them. Your treat people the way you want to be treated. I am wondering why so many people do not even try to get to know someone. What are some of the reasons????? People do not even talk as friends here, how can you get to know someone if you do not communicate with each other. What are we looking for???? A women/man of God to help you grow as a christian and become closer to Jesus. Post Reply

I think...there's always water..there's always other people...and there's always fish...I always try to be polite..maybe say hi what ya fishin for...sometimes you get one of those one word answers....sometimes they ignore you...sometimes they ask you...but in this place its more about ...what question you asked...people either receive the question...or they refuse it...they refuse it for myriads of reasons....why once I saw the older man who I had asked two questions to with no answer at all...lean over and say "What"...try loud...to his friend...you see he couldn't hear very well...we can take this personally sometimes with no reason....Iook at so called Christians here and I see attributes that are not going to dig what I dig...like say pentacostals....who do things that I believe are false teaching....then you read their profile...and there's all kinds of things about what that person wants...but NO GOD RELATIONSHIP IN THE PROFILE...that ain't what I'm looking for....I don't care if they are miss america...No God ...No Me in that persons life....also...I'm ok with what God has For me...just maybe the person I'm looking for is not here...I reckon I'm different than most here...some want a date...some want activities...I want to serve God...I do that...to heck with all the other stuff...cheer up...take names and kick dragon...insist on THE TRUTH..I'd rather be alone if they don't know the Truth..I've tried to teach...but then people seem to have a microwave mentality...they want results...like we all do...but Rome wasn't built in a day....Serve God....that's enough.. View Profile History	What are we Looking For??????reasons why you do not talk to others Posted : 31 Oct, 2009 02:36 AM dear rose, i recon if youre like me and you have a few close friends you speak to and say hi how are ya each day and then partisipate on the forums readin and writin and catchin up on what you missed.. and do your bible studyin and spendin time in prayer and all. well time you do all your daily other home or work stuff in a day well not alot of time left to spare but so much.. and that aint even countin when you find a romantic interist to pursue and talk to by phone and all hehe... thats even less time in a day.. ole cattle Post Reply

You know what,2 days ago I've tried to send you some message regarding this. But to my dismay it didn't reach you, maybe because of the age range from your profile or maybe because I'm a female too. I don't know whether they have a rule here not to mail the same gender. Anyway just want to cheer you up and tell you that we're not here to find results right away.People have their own preference, some are more open & some are not.At first I was hesitant to do this, but I think this is one way of testing our faith upon the Lord. God has many promises, (Ecclesiastes 3:1 There's a time for everything & a season for every activity under heaven) just be patient.Any dating site is not a guarantee that we will find what we're looking for. Perhaps we need to change our mindset & focus on what's important in your life right now. And may I suggest that you participate more often in this forum, here you will find different sentiments, laugh a little from their jokes and enjoy the company of our brothers like Cattleman, Tristan & Remp.
